Together, We Can Make a Difference
Have you ever felt like your health concerns don’t fit neatly into one box? Many people come into our clinic in Excelsior, Minnesota feeling like they’ve tried everything, yet something still feels off. This is where integrative medicine can make a real difference.
Integrative medicine focuses on the whole person, not just symptoms. It brings together different healing approaches to support physical, emotional, and overall well being. By combining Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, and Western medical perspectives, we create care that is thoughtful, personalized, and supportive for concerns such as pain, insomnia, anxiety, and chronic stress.
Why Collaboration Matters
One of the most important pieces of whole body health is collaboration. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, and no single practitioner has all the answers. When healthcare providers communicate and work together, patients receive more complete care, especially when navigating chronic pain, anxiety, sleep concerns, or ongoing health challenges.
Integrative healthcare allows us to look at patterns, root causes, and lifestyle factors while still respecting each discipline’s strengths. This collaborative approach often leads to better outcomes, particularly for people dealing with pain, insomnia, fatigue, digestive concerns, stress, or anxiety.
A Perspective Built on Experience
As a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner for the past 16 years, I’ve seen how powerful acupuncture and Chinese medicine can be in supporting pain relief, nervous system regulation, and overall health. I’ve also had the privilege of providing acupuncture for the Minnesota Twins, supporting their performance, recovery, and whole body wellness.
Working with athletes reinforced what I see every day in the clinic. The body functions as a connected system. Pain, stress, sleep, digestion, and emotional health are all connected. When we address only one area, healing can feel incomplete. When we look at the whole picture, change becomes more sustainable.
While I deeply value Traditional Chinese Medicine, I’ve learned that collaborating with other healthcare providers through integrative medicine can elevate patient care even further.
Expanding Our Clinic’s Vision
As we move into 2025, I knew it was time to expand our already strong foundation. Our clinic in Excelsior, Minnesota has long been a place for healing and connection, and now it is evolving into an integrative medicine clinic.
Through conversations with colleagues in Eastern medicine, Western medicine, and naturopathic medicine, one thing became clear. Patients benefit most when providers work together. Expanding our internal network allows us to offer coordinated, whole person care under one roof, supporting concerns such as pain, insomnia, anxiety, stress, and chronic health conditions.
What Integrative Care Looks Like
Integrative medicine isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what’s right for you. One person may benefit from acupuncture to support pain or calm the nervous system, while another may find added support through massage therapy or naturopathic care. Often, it’s the combination that creates lasting change.
This approach allows us to personalize care, address root causes, and support long term wellness in a way that feels balanced and supportive.
