Nikki Vanecek
L.Ac., M.Ac.O.M, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)
Nikki is the owner of EastWest Acupuncture and official Acupuncturist of the Minnesota Twins Baseball team is paving the way for the collaboration of Eastern and Western medicine.
Nikki's 14 years of clinical experience of implementing Whole Body Health has improved the quality of patients lives through Chinese Medicine.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. In addition to her training and education in the United States, Nikki studied at Tianjin Medical University, a top-ranked medical college, in Tianjin China.

Kerry Hayes
L.Ac., DCM, M.Ac, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)
Kerry is a Board-Certified, Licensed Acupuncturist and has a passion for women’s health, fertility, and pediatrics. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota as well as a Master of Acupuncture and a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Kerry loves Traditional Chinese Medicine because it provides a holistic, individualized approach to care and it teaches us to listen to the subtle messages our body uses to guide us to optimal health.

Lisa Nelson
MA, OTR/L L.Ac., CIMT
Lisa is a licensed acupuncturist and is board certified through NCCAOM. She received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. She also completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program offered at McMaster’s University in Ontario, Canada. This provided specialized acupuncture training to support patients experiencing new and chronic pain conditions (e.g. sports injuries and other muscle/joint related issues). Lisa loves helping patients resume essential daily tasks and the active lifestyle pursuits that have been disrupted due to an injury. She individualizes research based treatment techniques to help you MOVE toward achieving your personal goals.

Sara Larson
Certified Massage Therapist

Hello, I’m Sara!

Thank you for being here! I grew up in Chaska, but I’ve always had a sweet spot for Excelsior and I’m thrilled to be back near the lake and all of you lovely people!

I’ve been practicing massage therapy since 2014 and graduated from Center Point Massage and Shiatsu of Minnesota in 2016. There, I gained knowledge in both Eastern and Western massage modalities with unique and thorough techniques to provide the best sessions for my clients.

I specialize in pregnancy massage and thoroughly enjoy helping anyone during this full of changing, beautiful, and sometimes challenging times. From first time pregnancies, to those with their third or plus child, I cherish it all. Being a mother myself of two, and having two wildly different pregnancies, I hold some personal experience and knowledge. Not pregnant yet, trying but with no luck yet? There are many methods to consider to help you along the way, and I’m here for you!

Kaisa Hommer
Clinical Intern/Administrative Assistant
Kaisa is another magnificent administrative assistant with the added benefit of providing cupping and gua sha services. She will welcome you with a big smile and make sure you are taken care of! Kaisa will be starting cupping sessions, titled "Cupping with Kai" as she is taking courses to grow as an integrative practitioner!
